Independent Front Suspension (IFS) to Straight Axle Conversion Kits; Fabworx Offroad bolt-on conversion kit includes all the necessary brackets to convert your independent front suspension (IFS) to a solid axle system. The leaf springs will offer more axle articulation and travel than the stock IFS. A new suspension lift height will allow larger off road tires. With a solid front axle there are a wide variety of choices for gear ratios and traction aiding devices IE: automatic, air, and electric locking differentials, and possi-traction units. With a solid front axle and manual locking hubs will allow a free spinning front hub; meaning less drag and more fuel economy. With fewer moving suspension components you will gain reliability and longevity with your solid axle front suspension. Our SAC kits are designed to bolt on to your vehicle’s frame using some factory holes. However some welding and cutting may be required to install this kit.
